2008
In January of 2008 I reported to Fajardo, Puerto Rico and the El Conquistador Resort. An addition of a new ballroom/meeting rooms complex was underway. My assignment was to relieve the current project manager, assume control of the work and make sure the project was completed in a timely fashion. In addition I was to make an assessment of all costs to complete the project and reconcile costs to date and projected costs to complete against the project budget. I managed all invoices and pay applications and managed payables against available cash flow through completion. We also undertook a substantial amount of remedial work that was outside the scope of the original project or had not been completed as it should have been originally.
