I was recruited by Prime Hospitality Corp. to be a project manager overseeing construction and development of new AmeriSuites Hotels in late 1995.  At the time Prime Hospitality was undertaking a very large expansion nationwide and was one of the fastest growing all-suite hotel concepts at the time.  Prime was aggressively expanding into the Southwest and needed a project manager that could be based in the west and oversee projects in Texas, Arizona and California.  As part of the Prime team I completed six (6) hotels in 4 western states in 24 month period.  This included the first three hotels Prime developed in Arizona (Phoenix, Scottsdale & Tempe) and the first in California (Ontario).  As a Prime project manager I was responsible for adaptation of a prototypical design to a specific site and local codes and ordinances, overseeing planning approvals and permitting, bidding and award to general contractors, construction, outfitting and opening.  Prime Hospitality was beginning to wind down their expansion in 1997 and I joined the Woodbine Development team and took over management of the Westin
