The Boulders Resort was my first project for LXR Luxury Resorts and The Blackstone Group, starting in January of 2007 and ending in December of 2011.  My initial project was to construct a model room in preparation for a multi-million dollar remodel.  Unfortunately the remodel was cancelled after three model rooms.  We then undertook a planned expansion of the guestroom facilities doing the master-planning, concept design and estimating to add an additional 50 ultra high-end casitas.  The expansion was also cancelled.  Following this we began the design work for a complete renovation and expansion of the Golf Clubhouse and Resort Members Facilities.  This project was also cancelled just prior to the start of construction.  In between we handled a major insurance claim involving the complete re-construction of two guestrooms and replacement of the fire alarm system resort-wide as well as installing a fiber optic backbone to carry the fire alarm signal.  We also managed the reconstruction of a golf maintenance facility that was damaged by a falling tree from a windstorm.  Finally, in 20010 and 2011 we undertook and managed a complete guestroom renovation which re-built all of the guestroom wood-burning fireplaces, replaced all of the guestroom showers including new tile bases and stone walls and glass shower enclosures, repainted, re-carpeted and re-furnished the rooms and installed new digital television systems and wi-fi.  We also renovated the bar and fine dining venues at the golf clubhouse .  We managed all invoices, cash flow projections and contracting over the 5-year period and prepared all cost budgets and estimates.
